Zambrero has grown into Australia's largest Mexican restaurant franchise since opening its first location in 2005, with nearly 300 restaurants across the country serving up feel good Mexican inspired food to a loyal and growing fanbase.

In February 2026, that loyalty got a whole lot more rewarding. Zambrero launched ZAM FAM Rewards - a new digital loyalty program powered by Open Loyalty - officially retiring the brand's legacy paper stamp cards in the process.

Through the Zambrero app, website, or in-restaurant ordering, members earn points for every dollar spent and can redeem them for menu items. Everyone who joins gets a welcome bonus of 250 points, plus access to a birthday treat and member-exclusive deals and offers.

The response has been immediate: over 2,000 people signed up within the first 24 hours of launch, and that’s without any promotional push behind it yet.
